This site is owned and operated by the Film & Entertainment Association of New Mexico, Inc. (also known as FEA-NM). Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us, and we have constructed our policies in a manner that reflects our dedication to your privacy. We want to make your experience with us satisfying and safe, and provide you with this information for your reference.

As part of creating any kind of account on FEA-NM, you provide us with certain types of information about yourself or your business. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it, and how we protect it.

DATA COLLECTION

FEA-NM, LLC gathers user information in the following ways: We are a member-supported site, and we require that paid members/users purchase their membership via Check or Money Order. That transaction will require that you provide personal information, including your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, contact information, billing information and any other information from which your identity is discernible. In other areas, we collect or may collect demographic information that is not unique to you such as your ZIP code, age, preferences, gender, interests, and expertise. Sometimes we collect or may collect a combination of the two types of information. Examples of areas on the FEA-NM site where we collect personal or combined personal and demographic data are pages where you can log into your FEA-NM account, create a FEA-NM bio, create your profile, sign in to use a service, post a photo and/or resume.

We offer the following services, all of which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users: 1. E-newsletters policy: We propose to offer a newsletter to members. You will have to provide us with your first and last names, and valid email address to receive the newsletter. 2. Membership: In order to become a member of FEA-NM, you must complete the application provided at Application.

INFORMATION FEA-NM GATHERS AND TRACKS

FEA-NM gathers two types of information about users: Information that users provide through submissions made while joining the association and in turn the FEA-NM.com website. This is the information that you use to fill-out your membership forms as well as the information you post on your profile.

We also gather aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views and traffic throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to member's needs. We never share personal data, statistics, contact information or compromise your personal identity, privacy, or online habits in any way, ever.

Under no circumstances does FEA-NM divulge any information about an individual user to a third party other than which you have provided and given as your contact information, which should be posted on your profile.

FEA-NM tracks web traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. FEA-NM does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).

FEA-NM sometimes will track and catalog the search terms that users enter in our Search function (once operational), but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

EXTERNAL LINKS

The FEA-NM site contains links to other Web sites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other Web sites to which you choose to link from our Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other Web sites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.

We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume to legitimate industry uses, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this data. We are not responsible for the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are on our website. However, the portions of your resume (not your contact information) that are automatically made public in your profile are accessible to anyone who uses the FEA-NM website. You may remove your resume from FEA-NM.com, leave it out, or delete your profile on FEA-NM.com at anytime, but other parties may have previously viewed or archived your resume. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles in these instances. Our terms of service prohibit external users from using our site information outside of very strict parameters.

ACCESS TO AND MODIFICATION OF YOUR INFORMATION

You may review, correct, update or change your FEA-NM.com account or FEA-NM.com profile at any time. From your FEA-NM.com account admin page you may control your information (once this admin page is instituted) - at present it will be handled by the FEA-NM.com administrator.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

FEA-NM uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our website. Whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the site or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.

We also gather or may gather certain information about your use of FEA-NM.com website, such as what areas you visit and what services you access. Moreover, there is information about your computer hardware and software that is or may be collected by us. This information can include without limitation your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses, but is not linked to your personal information. We disclose information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect our rights or property or our affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.

CHILDREN

Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18 without requesting parental consent. In addition, all members of FEA-NM.

COOKIES

We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. FEA-NM uses cookies on its website to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.

THE PUBLIC DOMAIN

Any time you post information about yourself or your business online, that information enters the public domain and can typically be found with ease by using google.com or other free search engines. While FEA-NM has strict policies regarding the dissemination and use of such information, we cannot guarantee that others users of the internet will abide by similar policies. We suggest you consider carefully the type of information you wish to make public. It is at your discretion what information you wish to provide.

SECURITY

FEA-NM.com operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.

OPT-OUT POLICY

We provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of having your name and information withheld from our website. You must request this on your application and/or notify FEA-NM in writing that you wish to remain a member but Opt-out of revealing your name and other personal information.
