SO YOU THINK YOU CAN ACT NEW MEXICO!?

· Acting competitions will be held every other Saturday starting the second Saturday in September
· Contestants must be a New Mexico resident with valid proof of residency that will be verified
· Age groups to be determined, suggest under 8, 9-13, 14-17, 18 and up-
· Criteria to be decided, i.e. 2 minute Monologue, two person scene with each contestant's performance being judged individually
. Judges, to be determined and will rotate. Preliminaries, one from various categories. Final twelve will be more than one from each chosen category, i.e. casting directors, talent agents, coach/acting teachers, directors
· Costs to be determined. Local contests should be inexpensive to run. Cost will be in the actual broadcast of the final twelve weeks/contestants, less any sponsors
· Funding: donations and a small entry fee, sponsors, donations, etc. (grants for the entry fee will be available)
· Prizes to be determined. Suggest cash, along with a speaking role in a present or near future project.

This will be the first of many events held by FEANM Community Outreach. We desperately need everyone’s help. We need event planners, PA’s, art department, publicity, you name it we need it. Remember, this is about your industry and the pride you have in it. Let’s show everyone what New Mexicans have to offer. Make this a production the state has never seen and will be very proud of.

Not to change the subject; Anyone have any contacts or ideas of getting the final twelve contestant’s events broadcast over 12 weeks?

Concept;Twelve remaining contestants, one round/show each week, with fillers from previous contests for timing purposes.

What about competitions for crews? Stunts?
